Hvar is the sunniest island of the Adriatic Sea. Swimming season is from May to October. The fragrance of lavender, rosemary, heather and other Mediterranean herbs is in the air. Dalmatian cuisine offers famous fish specialties of crabs, shells and meat specialties too. These are few of the many reasons to visit the island of Hvar.

  Welcome to the town which takes pride in 135 year old tradition in tourism, the jewel of Croatia. Whichever road one may choose to come to Hvar, one would come across many a monument witnessing the rich historic heritage.
  The main town square, St. Stephen square, lined by right and left side by fine palaces of the two oldest parts of the town, Groda and Burg, is considered the largest and most beautiful medieval square on the Adriatic coast. Furthermore it is crowned by the oldest communal theatre in Europe, finished and open to the public in the early 1612.
  
  The mild climate, 300 sunny days per year, lush vegetation, picturesque bays, lovely pebble beaches and picnic resorts, clear summer nights with million diamond stars above and crystal clear emerald sea by day, revealing all Neptune’s riches to visitors are completed by the intensive fragrance of lavender, rosemary, heather and other aromatic herbs. Cricket and grasshopper concerts lull you to sleep. It makes the visit memorable and Hvar one of the most appealing destinations on the Adriatic coast.
  
  Our house is situated at a quiet, sunny position with a sea view. We have terraces and a private parking lot too. All the apartments and rooms are air-conditioned and have satellite TV, and free internet wireless access. At close vicinity there are three markets. The sea is 300 meters away; the first beach is 500 meters away. You can take a nice 10 min walk along the shore to the harbour itself. Taxi boats in the harbour will take you to the lovely excursion places on the neighbouring islands. Both in the harbour, as in the old part of the town, you will find many restaurants, where you can enjoy meat and Dalamtian fish specialities and also many cafeterias that work all day, also in the evening one can find amusement and music events there.
  
  On our terrace, in the shade of vines and kiwi, we are expecting you with a welcome glass of home-made wine, grape brandy, herb brandy or desert sweet wine prosek from our cellar. We offer high quality bottled wine - Plavac Hvar. We also produce first class olive oil - EXTRA VIRGINE, awarded with two gold medals and one diploma. We offer also original Hvar lavender from our fields in Brusje - Hvar. All of our products can be tasted and purchased at our bar or in our wine cellar. On the other larger terrace, you can sit comfortably while enjoying the beautiful view of the sea.
  
  Tickets for catamarans by "Jadrolinija" and "Kapetan Luka" can be booked up to a month in advance - but at least 24 hours before departure. You can do it online and pay by credit card. If possible, print out the receipt and use it to pick up your ticket at their offices, or show the receipt on your smartphone.
